The challenge
Architects judge websites the way they judge buildings: by proportion, restraint, and detail resolution. A single sloppy margin costs the commission. The site must demonstrate the firm's standards before a partner says a word.
Our brief: build the portfolio site that an exacting design firm would sign off on line by line — grid-true at every breakpoint, typographically flawless, fast enough to feel inevitable.
The approach
The layout is set on a strict modular grid — the same discipline as a drawing set. Project images align to it at every breakpoint; captions sit exactly where an architect's eye expects them.
Each project page paces like a site visit: approach, arrival, interior, detail. Full-width images alternate with measured text blocks. Nothing animates for animation's sake; reveals simply keep pace with reading.
Type is the identity: a single family in three weights, tracked like a title block, with project data tables that architects actually enjoy reading.
